I went home from the hospital today. Here is an explanation of what happened in my surgery. I’m feeling much more stable then I was after my dislocation.

Today was surgery day. Third time’s a charm.
I got up and was able to do a short walk this afternoon.

Today’s Pic of the Day:
Kev had to go help his mom move into her new apartment but didn’t want to leave me alone. Since my fall I am very unsteady on my feet and after my Dr appointment yesterday I got the call today that I am having another surgery tomorrow.
Kev had Cheryl come hang out with me so I wouldn’t be alone.

Kev was making biscuits for us for dinner and for some reason he couldn’t figure out how to get them open. Here he is all surprised that he finally got them to pop.

Today’s Pic of the Day:
Well….today was quite the day. I was doing my laps around the kitchen and my hip dislocated and I fell to the ground. It was awful. Kev and I couldn’t move me. I was stuck and I’m horrible pain. We called 911 and the paramedics took me to the hospital. At the hospital I had to get a hip reduction so they could pop it back in. I was sent home with a leg immobilizer and told to follow up with the Dr.

I went to the kids soccer game today. Uses my walker all the way down the hill and then back up but feeling good.

And of course I got myself a treat of sweet potato pie!!
I had my post op Dr appointment today. So far everything seems to be going good. I got cleared to try and ride a stationary bike and to also sleep on my surgical side…yay, cause that’s my favorite.
On the way home we stopped and got some yummy food from one of my favorite BBQ places.

Kev’s mom is moving into a new apartment. It’s a senior living facility. He bought a scooter so she could get around. She needs some practice.
