Today’s Pic of the Day:
I was face timing with Alicia yesterday and Emery came in the picture and was saying she was bored and needed something to do. So I told her to write me a letter. She kind of made a face and I said then we can be pen pals. Alicia and I explained how if she writes me a letter, I will write her one back, that’s what pen pals are. So she sat down and wrote me a letter and then today Alicia drove her to the post office to mail it.

Yesterday after the run I picked up the kids and took them over to our friends house in Pegasus where Kev was playing pickleball. They have a plane and I thought the kids would like seeing it in person. They thought it was cool that they got to sit inside it.

Today’s Pic of the Day:
Back to back 10k’s. Today was the Lost Dutchman run. I went into this run knowing that I would do what I could whether I finished or not. This race was and out and back so it would have been easy to turn around at any point.
But I didn’t need to. Surprisingly, I felt pretty good the whole run. (I walk lol)

Today’s Pic of the Day:
I got two medals at the run today because if you did the Phoenix Marathon 10k and the Mesa Marathon 10k you earned a special medal. The Desert Double.
Today was the Mesa Marathon 10k. I was worried about being able to do it because it was a point to point run and I’d have to be able to get to the end once I started.
But I was able to do it. Slow, but not much pain, so I was happy about that.

I went to watch the Women’s Doubles at the Leisure World Pickleball tournament. My friends Lyn and Jill and a bunch of others were playing.

Started out the day doing the Run for Love 5k. My hip is still giving me problems so I ended up cutting a corner and only doing 2.77 miles.
