March 10, 2018 Windmill Winery

Who knew we had a winery close by?  There’s one right in Florence.  Now they don’t grow the grapes and stuff in Florence but they do serve it there and have a really pretty facility.  Kevin Brooks knows the owner so he arranged for a group of us to go .  When we were the the owner came out and gave us a tour of the facility.  What a beautiful place.  They have a couple different options to have weddings or any type of party.  Usually when you go on a Thursday or Saturday night they have a good truck there for food options but the day we went it had rained earlier and the truck cancelled.  So Kevin Brooks called a pizza place that delivers to the winery and we stayed even longer sitting around the fire having some pizza and wine.  There’s talk of going again sometime cause everyone had a great time.
