Today’s Pic of the Day:

Another Diamond Art that I finished. I put it in a frame and it’s hanging by the front door.

Today’s Pic of the Day:

Kev took the kids to Frontier Park while I was at my softball game.  I stopped there on my way home and they were still there.  Caught them doing the monkey bars.

Today’s Pic of the Day:

I picked the kids up to come spend the night.  On the way home we stopped at Target to get some toothpaste and new toothbrushes.  But also made the rounds through the store to check it out.

Today’s Pic of the Day:

I finished this book yesterday and it was so good.  I read a lot of mystery/thriller books but this was nothing like that.  It’s a nice heart warming story that shows how to share hope and kindness.  I loved it.

Today’s Pic of the Day:

I received this in the mail today.  The 3-Day started a new club in 2025 called the Legends Club.  To be in it you had to  raise at least $2500 for the walk.  I raised $4200 this past year.

It rained pretty much all day today but I caught this awesome sunset down the street.

Today’s Pic of the Day:

I had a goal of reading 80 books for 2025 but ended up with 90.  I’m pretty sure all of them were audiobooks. I love to read, but I just really love listening to them as well. I’m listening when I walk, when I’m driving somewhere, and when I’m doing my new diamond art hobby. Depends on who you talk to but some people don’t think audiobooks count as “reading” books.  Honestly, I think if you read a book or listen to a book, you’ve still enjoyed a book!!

Today’s Pic of the Day:

At PT today when I was doing my heat and stem I also got a cozy blanket.  Then when I was done with all my exercises, while I was icing I got the cozy blanket again.   It’s so relaxing.

Today’s Pic of the Day:

It’s so hard to put all the Christmas decorations away and then see how everything looks empty.  So I bought some new pillow covers to get decorate for the next holiday.

Today’s Pic of the Day:

Saw a post about this pizza at Costco.  I was there this morning and decided to get it.  The normal price is $11.99 and it was $6.00 off.  Can’t beat it.

We saw the other grandkids today and for Christmas this year we gave them money boxes.  They loved pulling out the money that just kept coming.

January 1, 2026

Here it is January 1, 2026 and looking back I only made it to March with my pic of the day last year.  I really do like doing it.  What happens is I miss a few days and then I find it hard to catch up and before you know it,  it’s a New Year.  So I’m just going to start over today.

Here’s my first Pic of the Day:

Caught the sun trying to break through the clouds out on my walk today.

As of January 2009, I no longer have a job. It's not that I lost it, but after 26 1/2 years of working at the Post Office, I retired. According to everyone I know, I don't do anything all day, so I decided to start a blog. Now I can blog about what I don't do all day. I am married to Kevin, who is the most awesome husband I could ever have. It's because of him, that I do not go to work any more. I love that and I love him for that. Between the 2 of us we have 4 children. Hunter 31, Heather 29, Paul 28 and Alicia 26.
