I just love when all the leaves start changing colors. There’s this great neighborhood around the corner from Janet’s place and I got some great pics of the trees and leaves when I went out for my walks.

Once we left the hotel after a fun wedding weekend we headed over to Lizzy & JD’s house for the afternoon. It gave us all a chance to see their new house and also just relax and spend more time together.
Across the street from Lizzy’s is this cute little farm stand. It sells fresh veggies, eggs, chicken, plus some flowers and craft stuff. It’s all on the honor system. There’s a lock box there or a number you can Venmo your payment. 
Their house was great and a big highlight was riding JD’s stand up mower. I’d never seen anything like it and he brought it out for us to take a turn trying it out. I only have a picture of Alicia on it but I did take a turn and it was awesome.

It’s wedding day!! It was such a great day and perfect wedding. The ceremony was outside and so pretty. There was an awesome happy hour with any type of food you could imagine and then a great dinner at the reception with the most amazing band that entertained us all night long.
After the reception was over, they had an after party at the indoor pool and slide. They had more food, a taco bar and still more drinking as the open bar continued.

I flew to NY with Alicia to go to Lizzy’s wedding. It was supposed to be last year but because of Covid it was postponed til this year. Lizzy and JD still were married but in Diane’s backyard with a small group. So this year was the wedding they had planned at the resort they reserved with all their guests. Plus their new baby Charlie!!
The wedding was at a place called Crystal Springs Country Club. It was such a nice place and turned out great because everyone stayed at the resort for the whole weekend. Since we were out of town guests we were invited to the rehearsal dinner. These are a few pics of the resort and rehearsal dinner.

It was time for the kids to go trick or treating. Alicia stayed with the Mickey Mouse theme from Eli’s birthday a couple weeks earlier and the whole family dressed up.
They ended up with a pretty good haul.

Today was another sad day. It was Teresa’s funeral and it was tough. The service was really nice and when the singer sang “I Can Only Imagine” there was not a dry eye in the church.
After the church service we went to the cemetery where Teresa’s urn will be buried. Again, lots of tears being shed. So hard to believe this has happened.

It’s time for Eli’s “Oh TWOodles” party. It was at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler and the whole party was Mickey Mouse themed. Everything was so cute.

What happened to the pic of the day for the rest of 2021? Well…..I’m not really sure. I fell behind and then the farther I fell behind the more I kept feeling like I’d never catch up. And then I just kind of let it go. But looking back I have so many great things to post about so I’m going to work on catching up from last year and then keep going to catch up and get everything current.
I do know I’m not doing to catch up the whole blog by doing the pic of a day for every day but will catch up with some posts about stuff here and there from Oct 2021 to current.
First post will be the next one. I have my work cut out for me so keep checking back to see what you missed.
