Father's Day 2009

Kev just wanted to be up north in the cool
weather for Father's Day. So it was another
weekend in the pines up on the rim.
He was totally in his element. We played some
poker, he fished and then we let him win the
badminton tournament.
A well deserved relaxing weekend for an
awesome dad of 4 great kids!!!

Happy Father's Day Honey xoxoxo

June 20, 2009 Mary's Surprise Party

I really think she was surprised.....
Teresa & Colleen threw a surprise 50th
Birthday party for their mom, my sister
Mary. And I really do think she was surprised.
She came in and just lost it when we all yelled
SURPRISE!! They pulled it off & did a great job.

When Mary's friend Cindy's son came in right
from work, everyone thought the stripper
got there....too funny. He works for MCSO.

The girls each had a few words to say about
their awesome mom in a toast.

Mary & Ray Finch sharing a jello shot, one
of many different shots of the night.

There's always some sort of family picture.
Several members couldn't make it, but it was
still a group of us there to take part in the
Birthday Celebration. Again....Happy 50th Mary!!!!

The Succow family.

Nicole has been my walking partner for the past
few years. We would meet at Indian Bend Park
and walk and talk for hours, I'm going to
miss that. Kev is too, cause I would go to walk
and he would go to happy hour.

Here's to you Colie Ree, Congratulations on
your new job!!! I'm really going to miss you.
Love you lots xoxo

GO DEVILS!!!

Two years ago, ASU made it to the College
World Series. Kevin came home and said lets
go to Omaha to watch ASU. So we did, but we
didn't just watch ASU, we watched all the teams
play. In 10 days we watched 14 games. It
was so fun. Now ASU is there again and
we are hoping they come out winners
this time. Go Devils!!!!

June 10, 2009 Mary is 50 Today

Today is my sister Mary's 50th birthday
and I totally thought that that was worth
giving her her own blog post.

Happy Birthday Mare.....Love you xoxo

June Bahama Mamas

My group of girlfriends called the
Bahama Mamas finally got together Saturday
night, June 6th. Our plan is to try to get together
at least once a month, but it's been since March
since we did. Oh well. Regardless, we had a fun
night out that started with dinner at Oreganos, YUM!!!
And then we headed to the local community
theater for a show.

June 6, 2009 Camp Visitors

We had some visitors at our camp site on
Saturday. Kevin's brother Jimmy and his
his grandson Roman came to stay overnight.
Also our friends Tony and Amber made it up for
the day. They enjoyed a good quad ride and of
course the cool weather.

June 5, 2009 Quad Ride

We set out for a ride on the quads and went
to the Colcord Tower. You could climb to the
top, which we did, but I swear the wind
picked up when we got up there and I was
holding on. Kind of scary, cause it's pretty
high. Anyways, the view was awesome.

June 4, 2009 Looking for Elk

We went camping up on the rim for the weekend.
One of the things that Kevin likes to do is
go out looking for elk. We will drive or quad
for hours just checking out where they are.
This includes having a contest on who can spot
the most elk or deer. We saw a ton of them, but
I did lose. He spotted a couple of herds that had
at least 20 in each so by the end of our drive
it was about 50 to 6. I was too busy taking
pictures!!!

As of January 2009, I no longer have a job. It's not that I lost it, but after 26 1/2 years of working at the Post Office, I retired. According to everyone I know, I don't do anything all day, so I decided to start a blog. Now I can blog about what I don't do all day. I am married to Kevin, who is the most awesome husband I could ever have. It's because of him, that I do not go to work any more. I love that and I love him for that. Between the 2 of us we have 4 children. Hunter 31, Heather 29, Paul 28 and Alicia 26.
