October 27, 1009 Diamondbacks Select a Seat
Kevin & I have season tickets for the Diamondbacks that we share with some other friends. It was our turn to check out any new seats that we might be interested in switching to. We currently have seats directly up from 3rd base on the aisle and love them, but we still had to see what was available. I met my friend Richie, from the Post Office who is in charge of our seats, at the stadium to see if we could find something we wanted to change to. After wandering around for about an hour we decided we liked our current seats best and kept them for next years season. Richie & I then went up to Friday's to have lunch. The picture of the stadium is from Friday's Front Row and all the seats that have white tags on them were available, but like I said we like ours and decided not to change.
October 23-25 2009 Girls Vegas Trip
I went to Vegas on a weekend girls trip to celebrate 40th Birthdays for Lynn, Dina, and Wendi. We had a great time hanging out in the condo, going downtown to gamble and a couple girls went to see some concerts.
The one night downtown we met some girls at a blackjack table that were on a table for the first time. They were so excited to be there we all had a great time. No winning, but still fun!!!

The light show downtown is amazing. One of the themes they had going was Halloween, and it was awesome.
October 16, 2009 Brooke at UofA
You know it's a special occassion when you see something with UofA on my blog. And it is. I went down to UofA with my friend Holly (one of Alicia's other moms) because her daughter was receiving an award for being on the Dean's List. I can't even remember what exactly, it had something to do with having a certain grade point average for so many semesters, I don't know. Let me just tell you she's smart and got awarded for it. Way to go Brooke, you're awesome!!!
September 26, 2009 Shelly & The Family
I was over at my friend Shelly's house for an occassion that had been a long time coming. Her husband Jake's brother had been murdered and the trial had finally come to an end with a victory. The woman who did this had been found guilty which was the reason for the celebration. Here is a picture of some of the members of her family. We go way back to our softball days. Shelly & I played ball together for years and her dad coached us, then her sister Therese was my coach in high school.
