Pine Needles

I went up to Flag to hang out with Janet for a few days and we got on a big "let's work on the yard" kick.  We did a bunch of weeding, clipped bushes and of course raked pine needles.  We bagged just around 45 bags of needles, and that was maybe 1/3 the yard.  Then Kev & I went back up and we all did more.  Alicia came up to and is taking alot of credit, but that is her car in the background so she was there, but I can't acknowledge the amount of work she says she did.  LOL  Anyways, I forgot to get a picture of the pile of bags before we left last week, but basically the pile was doubled!!!

We still have about 3/4 of the side yard to finish but that should only be about 30 bags of needles.

As of January 2009, I no longer have a job. It's not that I lost it, but after 26 1/2 years of working at the Post Office, I retired. According to everyone I know, I don't do anything all day, so I decided to start a blog. Now I can blog about what I don't do all day. I am married to Kevin, who is the most awesome husband I could ever have. It's because of him, that I do not go to work any more. I love that and I love him for that. Between the 2 of us we have 4 children. Hunter 31, Heather 29, Paul 28 and Alicia 26.
